Summer 2009This summer has been the most epic, fun time that I've had since I learned how to make toast. In late June, the Enterprise landed in my front yard. It looked like it had gone through a lot of damage during it's decent into Earth's atmosphere. My dad is a huge fanatic so he began to lick the outer hull of the Starfleet vessel. I, being laid back and kind of like a french fry, stood back and played solitaire. Three bodies materialized, Commander Chekov, Captain Picard and Commander Tuvok. Hallow deep into your core. Your tears no longer, sparkle and fall. They blandly drop, if that at all. Once appearing inhuman, with flawless skin of porcelain. Your dull now, faded. Washed out, jaded. Not special, not unique. Your angled lines, now vague and weak. You once were everything aspired, now your nothing.Beauty retired.
